The Bird & Bottle Inn One of the Hudson Valley's well known fine dining and unique lodging experiences is now well represented in this newly released website. The Bird & Bottle Inn located in Garrison, New York is only a few miles north of northern Westchester county. Once known as Warren's Tavern, it has been there since 1761, operating in the colonial days. Our assignment was to accurately portray the warm and welcome atmosphere visitors experience when they enter the historic inn. We provided a CMS application that allows events, press releases, menus, and other content to be added, organized, and edited simply and easily by the Bird & Bottle staff. In addition to the design and development of the site, we also provided location photography. Mesko Associates - Sandsac We were called upon by Mesko Associates, LLC., to design a package wrapper for their popular SandSac® sand pail and to create a website for the product. We produced a CMS website and created a simple method of e-commerce using PayPal. The site is a showcase for the eco-friendly and fun, multi-use canvas pail showing video clips, and allowing visitors to purchase SandSac online. |
Harrick Scientific Products The website for Harrick Scientific Products was designed and built by GO2 Media Design. This site is actually a redesign of an existing site that needed an upgrade to the navigation and presentation of the product catalog.There was also a need to simplify editing and organization of the content. We used Drupal as CMS and employed the taxonomy to categorize the entire product list. This site was a challenge due to the unique nature of specific products while attempting to find common ground. Each product has various separate elements associated with it including data sheets, application specs, and tables of related accessories. Paramount Center for The Arts Our good neighbors, The Paramount Center for The Arts, have an incredible amount of talent coming through their doors each month. We created the layout, programming, and method of delivery behind their lobby display screen. It keeps patrons informed of upcoming shows, fundraising events, and film series. We were happy to create this ongoing stream of animated slides as an alternative to a sinlge local file on one of their in-house systems that had to be overwritten each time there was a change, we devised a way of delivering this to their screen via the Internet. Their South Bend, IN headquarters is home to the U.S. marketing staff with whom we work closely on a regular basis to design, develop, and maintain four separate websites. This site, "My Venus Smile", provides consumers ways to locate a Venus Dentists and request appointments online. The locator program covers the U.S. and Canada. There is also a Venus Professional site for dentists that allows a Venus Dentist to create a profile and post availability. The Venus Virtual Smile website is a fun makeover application where visitors are able to upload their photo and perform a makeover for a beautiful Venus Smile. We provide design, development, database integration, and marketing support to Heraeus online. Yonkers Public Library The Yonkers Public Library website was recently published after we redesigned the site with a fresh new interface and a rebuilt architecture to make it a content management system (CMS). As one of the member libraries of the Westchester Library System, they had seen how we transformed the WLS site into a user-friendly site with freshly updated content and many nice features. YPL holds almost the same exact content as before but the delivery and presentation has been improved to current standards and should be a useful, productive site for some time to come. The structure of the site is modular like most we design and built so additions and expansion will be likely. That will be a huge benefit to the YPL and its membership. |

Centec Solutions Centec Solutions is an interesting website because of how it is used by its owners. It is an online catalog that gives them the capability to print any portion of that catalog or deliver as a multi-page PDF document, tailored specifically to individual clients. That is very flexible. They also create their own new pages in minutes. That is also pennies on the dollar compared to printing a 24 or 32 or 48 page catalog with 140+ products. |
Veronica Whitehead Veronica Whitehead presented us with the challenge of creating the richest, most colorful, lush websites we have ever had the pleasure of designing. We were faced with thousands of photos to choose from to assemble a variety of carefully planned galleries. Veronica Whitehead and Company provides event design and production, and manages those gatherings around the globe. The site presents all aspects of her expansive repertoire with gorgeous photography from Spain, China, Russia, and more. We created a flow through the site focused on imagery with intuitive navigation to browse the galleries. The Flash-heavy site is also fortified with our own brand of SEO and steadily gaining positions in the search engines. Who says you can't have a Flash site with great SEO? Browse the site online, but we warn you to eat before you do. You will be starving by the time you make it to the contact page.
