Hemlock Hill Farm
Hemlock Hill Farm came to us for a website they could keep current and update themselves. We said, "Drupal". We say that a lot these days and why not, it is the absolute best open source CMS we've seen. What we have mastered is theming each Drupal website we design and build with a unique look and feel. We have built many of these CMS sites in 2008 and 2009 and plan to continue. In addition to global support and the Drupal community, we have clients that tell us how much they love it, and how simple it is to edit and add to their websites. This site was awarded a Gold Big W from the Advertising Club of Westchester in 2009, it is one of our best sites. It's no coincidence our principal "GO2" guy was an agriculture student back in the day. Our client tells us that, "the website has changed the way we do business". We can listen to compliments like that 'til the cows come home... |
Lori Lustig Executive Search
There are some websites that make fantastic examples of how less makes more impact. We worked with Lori Lustig on this site closely and it was relatively easy because she was so decisive, knowing exactly what she wanted. We are both extremely happy with the results. This site contains examples of some very elegant Flash animation. We are of the opinion that a Flash intro should be engaging and not invite a visitor to "skip" it. We will typically argue to build the intro directly into the home page to increase usability, allowing visitors to navigate from the very first screen. Lori's logo won a Big W Bronze award in 2008 since it was completed prior to the launch of the site, and we were honored twice with this job when the website was also awarded a Big W Silver in 2009. The Research Network on an Aging Society
We work with The Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University in New York, and they came to us for this special project funded by a MacArthur Foundation grant. We were privileged to work with Dr. John "Jack" Rowe on this project and were successful in providing the Content Management System requested in a look and feel that was fitting for the subject. The site was awarded a 2009 Big W from the Advertising Club of Westchester in the non-profit website category. |
