One of the most important questions asked about a company's website is, "When should we upgrade or redesign?" The short answer is: When your site appears to be out of date by either style or functionality. If you see your competition online with something that works well or looks interesting, it might be time to consider a redesign. Out of all the redesigns we've done, 98% were complete overhauls, started from scratch. The other 2% taught us that 100% should be total redesigns.

Technology evolves and we keep up with any of the proven advances. We also create unique looks that span a range of subjects and styles. In the case of Concorde, we were "all business". Every company goes through the process of keeping their presentations looking current, and from the early days of the Internet and website design, just having a site online was an accomplishment. We see many companies without a site, which does not make sense for today's marketplace and the changing modes of communication over the past ten years.

Concorde was looking for an upgrade to their initial site. Being in the business of recruiting and placement, it was crucial to upgrade the look, their ability to use the site (CMS), and get them found in the search engines. They have a tough job with today's market competing with the bigger companies out there. We focused on the regional marketplace to be most effective.

In the end, we built out a CMS site with custom functionality specific to posting jobs on their site with the ability of the individual that posted the job to manage the replies via e-mail. The look is professional, one of the most complete business styles we've designed, and a site that is widely found in the search engines for relative keywords. We consider this to be one of our most successful redesigns. It is also a Big W Silver Award winner for 2009.
